THE Limerick Branch of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind will hold their annual fundraising Dog Walk this Sunday, October 9, at 12 noon from the The Pavilion at University of Limerick (UL) with all proceeds going directly to the charity.

Volunteer and event organiser Tom Ryan said: “After a two year absence it’s wonderful to be back and to see so many tickets being sold. It’s a great event for young and old, for pet dogs and working dogs – but you don’t even need a dog to join in”.

The five kilometre walk around the scenic surrounds of the Castletroy campus will take approximately 45 minutes. Entry fee is €10 for an individual and €20 for a family.

Come along and know that by doing so you’re helping to change the life of someone who is vision impaired or the family of a child with autism.
