Limerick Gardaí warn that Christmas gifts may have been stolen

Dog owners ar advised to have their pets microchipped.

GARDAÍ are warning people to be suspicious of offers of cheap Christmas gifts for sale as they may have been stolen.

This comes following the theft of three terrier dogs from a garden in Fedamore on Friday, December 9.

The owner tied them up and left them at home for an hour and returned only to find their collars in the garden and no sign of the dogs.

Limerick Garda Crime Prevention Officer Sergeant Ber Leetch warned that dog owners should have their pets microchipped, so that they can be identified and returned if they are found.

Meanwhile, a woman in Monaleen had three bikes worth over €13,000 stolen from her garage, Gardaí believe these will be offered for sale and have asked people to refuse to buy and to report it to their local Garda Station.
