Limerick Fine Gael TD and Minister of State Patrick O’Donovan said he was very saddened to hear of the death of his former council colleague Seán Broderick who, he said, was devoted to his family, his community and his faith.

“He was a committed member of Fine Gael all his life and I had the privilege of serving with him when I was co-opted to the Council in 2003 until he retired from politics in 2004,” Minister O’Donovan added.

“He served the community of Abbeyfeale and the wider West Limerick area with great distinction being a man of integrity and service. My sincere sympathy to his family, wide circle of friends and the many people who knew and worked with him”.
