IN THE WAKE of celebrations after last weekend’s Six Nations clashes, there has been plenty more on-pitch action to get the teeth stuck into across Limerick and Munster.
Young Munster advanced in the senior Bank of Ireland Munster Challenge Cup against Cork Constitution in a hard-fought 19-13 victory. They’ll face Nenagh Ormond in the final, an historic first for the Tipp side.
The Cookies may be up against it after Nenagh Ormond’s walk-over 28-5 defeat of Highfield on Saturday.
And, it was a rough day for Grove Islanders St Mary’s in the Junior League Section A as they lost out in a powerful performance by Mallow, who took the day home 29-0.
The juniors were avenged by Garryowen U14 Girls who took Mallow/Mitchelstown to task in an even stronger 30-0 clash.
