REGISTRATION is now open for  Limerick City and County Council’s annual tidy towns seminar at the Woodlands House Hotel in Adare on Wednesday, February 15.

This year’s event has a number of elements, including a presentation on public art by Catherine O’Halloran of the ‘Draw Out’ art collective, along with group and panel discussions on actions for Tidy Towns categories for 2023.

The panel will include a national Tidy Towns adjudicator, representatives from Limerick City and County Council, Ballyhoura Development, West Limerick Resources and a representative from a high achieving Tidy Towns group from outside the county.

Environment Awareness Officer Sinead Mc Donnell said it promises to be an excellent evening of learning and sharing for Limerick Tidy Towns Groups as well as the council and development companies that support their endeavours.

“The content will be relevant to all Tidy Towns groups including those just beginning their Tidy Towns journey,” she explained.
