THE STAFF and ownership of National Motors, Larkinโ€™s Cross, Co Clare, have handed the prospective car owners of the Mid West the steering wheel in the drive to give back to the community.
Over a six-week charitable campaign, run by National Motors owner Andrius Gronskis and his team, the Larkinโ€™s Cross car dealership allowed customers to choose between two worthy Limerick charities to be the benefactors of a generous donation.
When buying a car from National Motors, customers were allowed to choose whether โ‚ฌ100 of their purchase would go to Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention or Limerick Animal Welfare.
The results ended in a kind donation of โ‚ฌ1,200 to Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention and โ‚ฌ700 to Limerick Animal Welfare, presented in cheques to the companyโ€™s chosen charities in recent weeks.
