LIMERICK’S Desmond League are through to the SFAI Boys (under-14) Cup Final.
It follows a truly superb 3-2 defeat of the North Eastern Region, which is made up of Cavan, Louth and Monaghan, in a game hosted by Killeaney FC, near Athea/Glin.
Early goals arrived through Eamon O’Sullivan (Shountrade) and Broadford United’s Seán O’Flynn, with another after the resumption through the talented Brooklyn Delahunty of Dromore United.
The visiting side scored in either-half but Desmond, under the management of Niall O’Connor, looked the better team throughout an enjoyable contest.
