PARENTS in Limerick can have their child’s car seats checked professionally next week to ensure they are correctly fitted.
The Road Safety Authority’s ‘Check it Fits’ service is returning to Limerick on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday May 9, 10 and 11 next, offering parents the chance to have child seats checked for safety.
RSA figures found that 56 per cent of car seats were incorrectly fitted nationwide, which could lead to serious or fatal injuries in the event of a collision.
