LIMERICK people, and their furry four-legged friends, are invited to take part in a very special walk this coming Sunday.
On May 28, the Limerick Branch of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind are stepping out for a spring jaunt on Guide Dog Day. The walk will take place in Mungret Park (starting from the playground) and go on for 2.5 kilometres.
Organisers say all are welcome, and have issued a special invitation for four-legged friends and family members. Participants are also encouraged to wear green for Guide Dog Day.
There is no registration fee for the event, but donations are encouraged. Donations to the event can be made on GuideDogs.ie/donate.
