Fire services fight blaze at County Limerick petrol station

SIX units of the fire brigade were called out to battle a fire at a County Limerick petrol station yesterday evening (Friday).

The fire broke out at Mullane’s petrol station in Knockdown between Athea and Glin at around 4pm.

Six units from Newcastlewest, Rathkeale, and Abbeyfeale fire services were called to the scene at around 4.15pm yesterday evening.

The blaze was quickly brought under control and there are no reports of any injuries.
