Edwards Lifesciences to hold open evening in Limerick next week

AN OPEN evening will take place for jobseekers in Limerick next week.

Edwards Lifesciences will hold an open day at its state-of-the-art facility in Limerick to allow potential new employees to gain a sense of what it is like to work for the company and if it is the job for them.

Employees at the Edwards Lifesciences manufacturing facility in Limerick are responsible for the manufacture of breakthrough innovative heart valve therapies and life-saving medical technologies.

The open evening even will take place on June 20 from 4pm to 7pm and applicants who attend will be able to benefit from an accelerated application process.

Prospective employees will also be able to meet with company leaders and discover what benefits are offered to Edwards employees.

Edwards is currently seeking a range of employee profiles and skills, most notably for Assembler and Quality Control positions.

Andrew Walls, plant manager for Edwards’ facilities in Limerick and Shannon said: “Our Open Day is an invitation to all individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients worldwide.”

The Limerick facility has been purposefully designed with employee well-being and sustainability in mind.

The building features a gym, outside athletic courts and recreational spaces for employees to enjoy. It is also powered by 100% renewable electricity and will be carbon neutral and zero waste-to-landfill.
