Funeral arrangements for Munster’s Greig Oliver

FUNERAL arrangements have been confirmed for the late Greig Oliver, who passed away following an accident in Cape Town, South Africa, on July 3.

The former Scottish rugby player, and father to Munster scrumhalf Jack Oliver, lost his life in a fatal paragliding accident while visiting South Africa for the World Rugby U20 Championship.

He is survived by wife Fiona, children Jack and Ciara, and siblings Derek and Lyndsay.

Mr Oliver will be reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate, today (Thursday) from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.

Requiem Mass will be held on Friday (July 21) at 12pm followed by a funeral afterwards at Shannon Crematorium. The mass will also be streamed on SalesiansIreland.ie/milford/.

The family have expressed wishes that the house remain private.
