LIMERICK City and County Council have held discussions on the future of the Markets Field Stadium.
The Council said recently that it has had preliminary discussions with the Limerick Enterprise Development Partnership (LEDP) in relation to the future of the stadium.
At a recent Metropolitan District meeting, Fine Gael councillor Sarah Kiely questioned the local authority on progress made, the stakeholders involved, and the timelines involved.
“There is no outcome to discussions at this point but engagement will continue with a view to concluding discussions by the end of the year,” said Senior Executive Officer with Regeneration, Brendan Troy.
