
THE Summer Sessions is a new series of gigs happening over the next few weeks which will be recorded live and released on a compilation album.
The Record Room and Wired 99.9FM in association with WAV Mastering have curated a list of exciting new Limerick based talent, 12 acts in all, playing over five nights at the Catherine Street basement venue.
The series aims to capture a snapshot of the current vibrant scene in Limerick.
The gigs will be thoughtfully compiled for a vinyl album ensuring that each performance is forever etched into musical history. It’s a celebration of the past, the present, and the boundless creativity that flows through the city.

- External Walls: Up to €8,000 Grant
- Attic: Up to €1,500 Grant
- Cavity Walls: Up to €1,700 Grant
- Internal Dry Lining: Up to €4,500 Grant
Every night will be professionally recorded and engineered.
The dates for the gigs are Anna’s Anchor + T.A. Narrative (Last Tuesday July 25); Hazey Haze + Personal Vanity Project (Thursday August 3); Laura Duff + SWEETS + The Low Field (Thursday August 10); Dylan Flynn & The Dead Poets + Small Church (Thursday August 17) and Paddy Mulcahy + Strangeboy + Post Punk Podge And The Technohippies (Thursday August 24).
