LIMERICK is pampered. That is according to research by Irish cosmetics brand AYU.
A survey by the cosmetics brand found that Limerick ranks seventh in Ireland for the counties with the most hair and beauty salons per capita.
The study found Limerick to have some 600 salons countywide, or 28 salons per 10,000 people.
Leading the pack was Monaghan with 47 per 10,000 people.

Neighbouring Clare was ranked lowest on the list, with just 8 salons per 100,000, while All-Ireland rivals Kilkenny had only 9.
County Mayo ranked second on the list, with 36 salons per 10,000.
