Throw-in for Limerick players in Senior Club Championship

Na Piarsaighโ€™s William Oโ€™Donoghue will be in club championship action this weekend.

FRESH from their heroics in completing the historic All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship four-in-a-row, Limerick players will return to club representation with the commencement of the Bon Secours Hospital Championship across the upcoming August Bank Holiday Weekend.

โ€œThe past couple of weeks have been a remarkable time for Limerick Hurling, and I am confident that the Club Senior Championship will prove to be an exciting and memorable spectacle,โ€ commented Limerick Chairman Seamus McNamara at the competitionโ€™s launch.

โ€œAs the championship commences, I extend my best wishes to all the participating teams. It was heartening to witness the enthusiastic representation of every club at the announcement of the championship.โ€

On behalf of the sponsor, Sarah Oโ€™Sullivan said: โ€œThere is palpable excitement and anticipation as the club championship is about to get underway. We are delighted to have a long-standing relationship with Limerick GAA and view this partnership as a perfect fit between the two organisations.โ€
