A GROUP from Limerick recently made the trip to Waterford to attend a class on teaching and training.

One month after the inaugural Erasmus+ โ€˜Generations Pedalling for Inclusion and Climate Actionโ€™ project, a Limerick delegation of the Great Southern Trail (GST) voluntary community group took another trip to Waterford City for a โ€˜Learning, Teaching, and Trainingโ€™ gathering.

โ€œIt was great to get recognition from Cyclist.ie for our GST members who created Irelandโ€™s first planned Greenway,โ€ said GST Vice Chair Denis Mc Auliffe.

Mr Mc Auliffe added that the group has also received recognition from the European Greenways Association for their voluntary work.
