
FEES for student accommodation at University of Limerick are set to increase this year, according to a recent report by The Irish Times.
The cheapest accommodation at the Castletroy-based university, which would see students share a campus residence with seven others in the Plassey student village, will set students back โฌ5,206 for the full academic year, an increase of โฌ202 on last yearโs fees.
In the Quigley Residence complex, which is reserved for postgraduate students and can accommodate up to 100 people, fees have risen from โฌ8,208 to โฌ8,438 per person in a two-bed shared apartment for the 38-week academic year.
Utilities and services rates within the universityโs accommodation ranges from โฌ663 to โฌ1,091 for the academic year, and are included in the rent price.
