People in Limerick encouraged to host a Ukrainian family as college returns

LIMERICK people are encouraged to host a Ukrainian family as university students return to campus accommodation countywide.

The Irish Red Cross, Helping Irish Hosts, the Peter McVerry Trust, and the International Organisation for Migration are appealing for host families to come forward to offer a home to Ukrainians who will have to move out of student accommodation as the college season gets underway in August/September.

Hosts are needed in Limerick to support individuals or families who wish to remain in the area that they’ve called home for the summer.

Anyone interested in hosting an individual or family can get information on HelpingIrishHosts.com.
