Man charged in connection with Castletroy burglaries

A MAN has been charged with multiple thefts and burglaries in the Castletroy area.

According to a statement from An Garda Síochána, a man, aged in his 30s, was arrested by Gardaí while on a high visibility patrol in Castletroy yesterday (Wednesday August 30).

He was found to be in possession of a number of items of stolen property, allegedly taken in June and August this year.

The man was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, and has since been charged.

He was due to appear at a special sitting of Tralee District Court some time this morning.
