Rowntree signs contract extension with Munster

GRAHAM Rowntree has signed a two-year contract extenion that will keep Munsterโ€™s United Rugby Championship winning coach with the province until at least the end of the 2025/2026 season.

Rowntree said: โ€œMy family and I have thoroughly enjoyed our four years (three years as forwards coach and another as gaffer) at Munster and Iโ€™m delighted to sign a new contract. This is a special club with special people and Iโ€™m very proud to lead such a great group.โ€

He added: โ€œThereโ€™s lots to look forward to and our coaching team, players and support staff will continue working as hard as we can to get better every day.โ€

IRFU Performance Director David Nucifora said: โ€œWe are delighted that Graham has agreed to extend his contract with Munster Rugby.
