LIMERICK will host a Benefit Meeting in aid of Milford Hospice on Saturday October 7.

The driving-force behind the event is Tom Ahern, a Welfare Officer with Greyhound Racing Ireland.

He explained: โ€œEarlier this year my family and I saw first-hand the importance of such a facility with the passing of our mother.ย ย The care that she received from both the home care team and the staff on site in Castletroy were second to none.ย ย In supporting this event attendees will support the brilliant work of Milford Hospice.โ€

Aside from a quality race card, there will be complimentary kidsโ€™ entertainment and music afterwards will be with โ€˜The Roadrunners.โ€™
