GARDAÍ in Limerick are investigating allegations of shots fired in a housing estate on the outskirts of Limerick City this morning (Thursday).
The shots were allegedly fired at a house in the O’Malley Park estate in Southill.
According to Gardaí, the incident occurred at around 2.15am.
“Gardaí in Limerick are investigating an alleged discharge of a firearm which occurred in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 5th October 2023, at O’Malley Park, Southill, Limerick,” said a Garda spokesman.

“The incident occurred at approximately 2.15am. No injuries were reported.”
Gardaí did not provide further details and said their “enquiries are ongoing”.
