GardaĆ­ investigating after tow truck set alight in Castleconnell

GARDAƍ in Limerick are investigating an incident of criminal damage that occurred in the county in the early hours of Tuesday morning (October 31).

GardaĆ­ attended the scene of a vehicle on fire, believed to be a tow truck, at Castle Street, Castleconnell.

The fire occurred at approximately 12.10am, according to An Garda SƭochƔna.

Photos and videos of the vehicle on fire were circulated on social media following the incident.

No injuries were reported during the incident, and GardaĆ­ say no arrests have been made as of yet.

A statement from An Garda SƭochƔna say that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
