The places were taken from a blue Volkswagen Passat which was parked in a residential area on Elm Road in Annacotty.

According to Garda John Finnerty of Henry Street Garda Station, the theft took place between 6pm on October 18 and 11am the following morning.

It is not known whether the plates, once taken, were used in connection with a crime.
