Stage is set for Limerick Chamber Business Awards

THE details of Limerick Chamber’s President’s Dinner and Regional Business Awards have been announced.

The annual dinner and awards ceremony aims to highlight the achievements and contributions of business professionals in the region.

Over 400 guests will attend the gala dinner in the Strand Hotel on Friday November 17, which will also incorporate the Regional Business Awards, sponsored by TUS.

The awards will see 20 finalists battle it out to take home the top prize in each of the categories.

Limerick Chamber President Miriam O’Connor said that the event is a chance to celebrate businesses in the Mid West region.

“The President’s Dinner is a celebration of achievements within the regional business community throughout the year and the work being undertaken by Limerick Chamber to support member’s ambition,” she said.

“During the evening I will be announcing the recipient of this year’s Presidents Award, honouring a person who embodies the spirit of the business community and who has had a significant impact on Limerick the Mid West.

“Traditionally the identity of the President’s Award recipient remains top secret until the reveal onstage, however I can say that this year’s honouree is highly accomplished, recognised nationally for their leadership ability, incredibly passionate about the team they lead, and has had a tremendous impact on the entire Mid West.”

TUS president Professor Vincent Cunnane added: “We are excited to partner with Limerick Chamber for the 13th year to bring together the region’s business leaders, innovators, and changemakers for a night of celebration and recognition. The Regional Business Awards highlight the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit and ability of the companies within the Mid West.”
