MARK McDonagh is posting some significant wins of late.
A two-time winner at Limerick’s Christmas Festival, the Cratloe jockey recently piloted a winner at Cork and only a few days ago partnered the Edward O’Grady-trained Always Enchanting to an easy success in the two-mile handicap hurdle at Clonmel.
Owned and bred by Kay Russell, the seven-year-old led before the second-last hurdle and went clear before the last to beat Philip Rothwell’s Robindevidaster by six lengths at odds of 9/2.
Meanwhile, Limerick – in association with the Track Bookmakers – have announced free entry into its upcoming meeting at Greenmount Park, Patrickswell on Tuesday, January 30.
