Careers fair with a difference held at Salesian Secondary College

Students of Salesian Secondary College in Pallaskenry attended a careers fair with a difference last week.

A CAREERS fair of a different kind was held at Salesian Secondary College last week.

The careers fair saw past students from all walks of life returned to the Pallaskenry school to help guide current students towards their chosen professions.

Overseen by new principal Keith O’Rahilly, past Salesian students (some of the Class of 1985 vintage) returned to their alma mater to give one-to-one advice to today’s sixth year students as they begin to make decisions about their futures.

Among the wide range of industries represented at the careers day were aviation and flight attending, marketing, biotechnology and biopharmaceuticals, IT and software, sales, and midwifery.
