Limerick people encouraged to take part in LauraLynn’s 150km walking challenge

LauraLynn are encouraging Limerick people to take part in their 24-hour treadmill challenge.

LauraLynn, Ireland’s only children’s hospice, is calling on people across Limerick to join in on its 150K February walking challenge.

The organisation currently supports 554 families nationwide.

This figure also includes bereaved families who avail of supports and attend LauraLynn events and activities.

LauraLynn has a team which provides community-based specialised palliative care and supports to children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Limerick and the wider Munster region.

Details of how to take part can be found on lauralynn.ie.

It’s a challenge that anyone can do, with no time limits and participants can clock up kilometres any way that works, a statement from LauraLynn said.
