ACCLAIMED singer songwriter Niamh Regan is on a solo tour across Ireland this month road testing some new songs for her upcoming album. She played a captivating guest slot at Dolans Warehouse with Sorcha Richardson last November and will return to play her own solo headliner this Thursday February 8.
The Galway songwriter spent much of 2023 in the studio working on her next record. Niamh’s debut album Hemet (2020, Black Gate Records) announced her arrival as one of our most distinctive musicians and songwriters.
Hemet earned nominations for both the RTE Folk Awards’ and the Choice Awards’ Album of the Year, it received soaring praise (“A quiet and determined triumph” – The Irish Times – “One of the best albums released this year… sublime” – Nialler9 and led to captivating performances on The Late Late Show and Other Voices.
Following her Irish tour, Niamh will support CMAT on the final leg of her European tour, in Vienna, Munich, and Zurich; she’ll then continue her solo tour in Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
