MICHAEL O’Brien has announced his candidacy for Rabharta, The Party for Workers and Carers, for the 2024 Local Elections for Limerick City East.
Michael, who says he is ambitious about Limerick as a city, is father to two young boys and previously worked in the fitness industry, the hospitality sector, and in health and social care regulation.
He is now a mature student studying Law in the University of Limerick.
“I have decided to run in the local elections because I believe there is a growing need for progressive, evidence-based decision making at local government level,” he explained.
“As a rapidly changing society, we have an opportunity to create person-centred communities with a strong emphasis on social cohesion, accessibility, and urban regeneration.”
