FINE Gael councillor Daniel Butler has welcomed a new bus shelter for the Lower Mulcair Road in Raheen, at the Castle Park bus stop, which will be delivered in June.
According to Cllr Butler, the current stop is particularly exposed so the shelter will provide protection from the elements and will be of huge value to local commuters.
The bus shelter is being delivered in partnership with Limerick City and County Council’s Active Travel team and the National Transport Authority, who aim to support active travel modes such as public transport.
