Women’s achievements to be celebrated at MIC festival

Mary Immaculate College's FemFest will celebrate the experiences and achievements of women.

THE experiences and achievements of women are to be celebrated at a festival held by Mary Immaculate College (MIC) this month.

FemFest will host 20 events over the course of three days in March, with events including literature, performance, visual art, and more in MIC’s Limerick and Thurles campuses.

Justine McCarthy, columnist with The Irish Times, will open the festival at MIC Limerick, while Siobhán McQuillan will open the event at the Thurles campus.

The events are all free and open to the public.

FemFest 2024 runs from March 5 to 7, with information about all the events taking place available on MIC.ie/FemFest.
