Limerick pair on International under-20 duty

EVAN O’Connell (UL Bohemian) will once more captain Ireland out onto The Recreation Ground in Bath for tonight’s (Friday) Under-20 Six Nations Championship tilt with England.

O’Connell is joined by the returning Alan Spicer of UCD in the second-row.

The backline is that of Ben O’Connor, Finn Treacy and Hugo McLaughlin, with Hugh Gavin and Wilhelm de Klerk selected in midfield.

Jack Murphy and Oliver Coffey are the half-back pairing.

In the pack, Alex Usanov, Danny Sheahan and Jacob Boyd start in the front row. Joe Hopes joins Bryn Ward and Luke Murphy (Shannon) in the back row.

Ireland have already beaten France, Italy and Wales.

This tie is difficult to call with England as marginal favourites.

Kick-off for the fixture is 7.15pm.
