A PUBLIC call has gone out to those who may have memorabilia from a former Limerick engineering firm.

An exhibition will be held in September at the Limerick Museum for the former Krups firm, which employed 1,4000 in Limerick at its height before closing in 1998.

Now, Limerick Enterprise Development Partnership (LEDP), in collaboration with Limerick Museum, is hosting an exhibition to mark 25 years since the firms closing and has called on past employees and their family members who may have stories, artefacts, or memorabilia relating to Krups.

A number of ‘collection days’ will be held at the LEDP offices in Roxboro, between April 9 and 11, for those who may wish to donate to the exhibition to help mark the former firm’s impact.
