IRRESPECTIVE of the outcome of Sunday’s final round tie with Offaly at O’Connor Park in Tullamore (2pm), Limerick have already been relegated from Division Three.

It follows a narrow, 0-9 to 0-8, loss in Wicklow.

Noted forward Josh Ryan (Oola), just back following a leg break suffered in a club hurling fixture in Autumn 2022, was an interesting weekend choice in goals.

In the Munster Under-20 Football Championship, Limerick welcome Waterford to Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale on Saturday (2pm).

At the weekend, Limerick drew, 0-12 to 2-6, with Tipperary in Fethard. Here Ronan Quirke (Fr Casey’s) landed six points.

April 6 is the date for the final.
