CONTINENTAL welterweight champion Paddy Donovan of Limerick will face Lewis Ritson in Leeds on May 25, promoters Matchroom Boxing have confirmed.

Limerick’s Donovan won his belt in the Autumn with a technical knock-out over Danny Ball in Dublin.

He returned to the ring in January against Williams Herrera, whom he also knocked out to retain his crown and is now ready for another defence.

Ritson has taken a break after losing to Ohara Davies last year.

Donovan is undefeated in 13 fights, ten of them won by knock-out, while Ritson has a record of 23 wins, three losses and 13 knock-outs.
