JJ Bowles Pub and Mother Mac’s Pub win at Irish Restaurant Awards

LIMERICK bars JJ Bowles Pub and Mother Mac’s Public House emerged as winners at the Munster Regional Irish Restaurant Awards held at The Great Southern Hotel in Killarney this week. The Pub of the Year award went to JJ Bowles Pub while Mother Mac’s picked up the award for Innovator of the Year.

Almost 700 guests attend the awards event in Killarney. The Awards received over 160,000 public nominations for restaurants, cafés and other food services establishments across the country. Nominations were made by the public through The Irish Times website.

Mother Mac’s Pub recently opened Peggy’s Whiskey Parlour, a bespoke Whiskey Bar offering over 400 whiskeys and now taking bookings for Whiskey Tastings.

JJ Bowles Pub are all set for a busy weekend when Munster return to Thomond Park this Saturday to take on Cardiff Rugby, fans of both teams will drop in for pre and post game pints and match analysis.
