CHAMPION owner JP McManus, Martinstown, will field three of his Cheltenham Festival winners in the โ‚ฌ500,000 Boylesports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday.

Unsurprisingly, Corbetts Cross (11-10), Inothewayurthinkin (11-9) and Limerick Lace (11-7) are all towards the top of the weights.

The former was a facile victor of the National Hunt Chase.

And, Inothewayurthinkin and Limerick Lace may well have created history at Prestbury Park as the only full siblings to be successful at the same Festival.

Team McManus won the National for a fourth occasion last year with the Willie Mullins-trained I Am Maximus.

On Sunday, Askeaton trainer David Fitzgerald supplied He Fitz In – in the colours of Cathal McDaid – to win a competitive Handicap Chase of ะ„11,000. On board the well-supported 4/1 shot was Danny Mullins.

โ€œI always wanted to run over further and the Ulster National (over 3m4f, Downpatrick) is in two weeks so if he scrapes into that, thatโ€™s where heโ€™ll go. I was worried about the ground but he is a dour stayer,โ€ Fitzgerald told irishracing.com.

Limerick will next race on Thursday April 11, which is a 10,000 sell-out for the latest edition of the ever-popular Student Raceday.
