A FUNDRAISING event that sees a group of friends push a wheelchair from Drogheda to Killarney in aid of the Irish Wheelchair Association will make a stop in Limerick as part of their mammoth challenge.

A Push for Paul aims to raise awareness and funds for the IWA after Kerryman Paul Murphy was left confined to a wheelchair following a diagnosis of Mitochondrial Myopathy Disease.

The fundraiser takes place over six days, with the group scheduled to make a stop in Adare on Thursday, April 25.

Anyone who would like to donate can do so on the fundraiser’s iDonate page (https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/apushforpaul).
