DYLAN Flynn’s new single is ‘The Story After They’re Gone’, a very strong track where the narrator ponders his life after losing everyone around him.
That emotive track now comes with an equally captivating video directed and edited by Jamie Moore, and shot by Wojciech Kwiatkowski, who are both long time collaborators with the band.
The video follows the theme of the song, as it progresses the shots become more and more empty, eventually leaving Flynn to be the only person left.
Shot in some very familiar locations, the video takes the viewer on a journey around rooms and locations close to the band’s heart.
This track/video is the third single from their upcoming EP and is available to stream from Thursday April 4.
‘The Story After They’re Gone’ was written, recorded and self-produced from the band’s small studio space in Limerick City, with long term collaborator Mike Gavin (Windings). Mike co-produced and mixed the track, while Richard Dowling (Foo Fighters, Brian Eno, Villagers) mastered it.
