LIMERICK people are being asked to take a leap for a good cause this week.

Family Carers Ireland has announced the return of its ‘Cold Water Dip’ fundraiser, which sees people take a dip at a local event to raise money for the work of Family Carers Ireland.

A dip will take place on April 21 at O’Briensbridge, as well as Rosses Point in Lahinch or Miltown Malbay in neighbouring County Clare.

Limerick man Michael Davis, who is a carer for his wife, will be taking part.
