PARENTS across Limerick have been urged to get booking bus seats for their children ahead of the coming school year.

The warning came from Limerick TD Willie O’Dea, who said that those who fail to book before the April 26 deadline may risk not getting a seat this school year.

Applications are currently open for new applications for primary and secondary students who are starting at a new school or who have changed address since the previous school year.

Students with a valid medical card are exempt from the annual bus fees.
