Man before courts in connection with firearm and ammunition seizure in Limerick City

A MAN in his 40s was to appear before a special court sitting this afternoon after a number of firearms and ammunition was seized yesterday (Friday) in Limerick City.

Gardaí confirmed that the man was arrested and charged following yesterday’s search, in which officers found two firearms and an amount of ammunition.

He was to appear before a special sitting of Ennis District Court this afternoon.
