AFTER a five-year absence, Ballysteen Point-to-Point Races makes its welcome return (on the Neville Farm) on Saturday next (April 27, 2pm).
A strong entry has been received for the six-race meeting, which will have food, bookmakers, and refreshments on-site.
Talented entertainer Brian Kelleher, Newcastle West, is on stage after the racing.
Meanwhile, the centerpiece of the sporting world next week will be the valuable National Hunt Meeting at Punchestown, Tuesday to Saturday.
