Limerick sporting legend encourages children of the Treaty to get active

Limerick rugby legend Paul O'Connell is encouraging children across Limerick to get active.

LIMERICK sporting legend Paul Oโ€™Connell teamed up with childrenโ€™s charity Barnardos and ALDI to encourage children across Limerick to get active.

Over 700 students across Limerick are already taking part in this yearโ€™s Barnardoโ€™s Big Active programme, which encourages students of all ages to focus on their health and wellbeing while helping others across a series of challenges and activities.

โ€œLooking after our wellbeing is so important. For me, I like to spend time with my family, go for a long walk, cook a meal, or play a game of golf with friends,โ€ said Oโ€™Connell of the many ways of keeping active and healthy.
