BROADFORD United and Rathkeale are through to the Desmond Cup Final, which is listed for May 31 at Mick Hanley Park in Askeaton.
United defeated Glin Rovers 2-1 in the opening semi-final, with the goals arriving in either half through penalty expert Colm Ryan and Adam O’Kelly.
In the second semi, last season’s beaten finalists Rathkeale edged-out Granagh United 1-0. The only score of the contest came from Dean Maune.
This fixture was originally postponed due to the passing of Jimmy Dollery, Life President of Rathkeale.
