LIMERICK Feral Cats, a local charity taking care of homeless cats in the city and facilitating neuterings and spayings to help with population control, has received some much-needed assistance as part of a nationwide charitable donation by Maxi Zoo Ireland.

The local cat charity was one of 25 animal welfare organisations across the country to benefit from the donation of €200,000 in pet products, including food, bedding, toys, collars, and other products.

Limerick Feral Cats provides food and shelter for feral cats in Limerick, as well as performing its ‘trap, neuter, return’ programme.
