Limerick authors make special donation at County Hall presentation

AN IMPRESSIVE โ‚ฌ12,469 each was presented to The Childrenโ€™s Ark paediatric unit at University Hospital Limerick and the Limerick Society of St Vincent de Paul from the proceeds of sales of โ€˜1973 โ€“ Keeping the Dream Aliveโ€™.

The book, penned by Niall Deegan, James Lundon, and Liam Oโ€™Brien, celebrates the success of the legendary Limerick hurling team.

The three authorโ€™s made the generous donation at a special presentation, attended by many and hosted by Limerick Mayor Gerald Mitchell, held at County Hall in Dooradoyle.
