A NEW exhibition of artistic works has gone on display at University Hospital Limerick (UHL).
The works, which are currently on loan to USL from the Arts Office at Limerick City and County Council, were unveiled last month by Mayor Gerald Mitchell.
According to a UHL spokesman, the artwork “is intended to soften the clinical environment for patients, visitors and staff; assist with wayfinding by providing distinctive landmarks; provide distraction and comfort for patients and visitors; and enhance wellbeing”.
The works on loan include paintings by some of Ireland’s leading visual artists.
